DANCE PROGRAM

At Dream Movement, building confidence, coordination, and creativity is the foundation of our dance programs. We use interactive teaching methods to engage students in a wide variety of dance styles, routines, and creative activities. Our programs are

·      Aligned with the NSW PDHPE and creative arts syllabus.

·      Cater for single, double class or stage groupings.

·      A range of styles including but not limited to hip-hop, percussive, contemporary, and themed.

·      Inclusive dance program catering to all students' skill levels and abilities.

·      Provide students with the opportunity to create, compose and explore movement in a safe and fun environment.

PERFORMANCES

Dream Movement offers a flexible dance program that can be tailored to meet the specific performance needs of your school. We can provide a variety of services to enhance the quality of end-of-term performances, Christmas concerts, or whole-school musicals. These include

 ·       Professional music editing that complements the performance theme.

·       Creative choreography aligns with the theme/ story that showcases each student's potential.

·       Additional practice videos for class practice.

·       Formations that highlight each student's unique talents with formation plans that are sent to each classroom teacher.

COMPETITION GROUPS

Dream Movement offers dance programs to schools that are interested in enhancing their dance skills through selective dance show groups. We provide assistance in registering groups for competitions such as the City of Sydney Dance Eisteddfod, CASPA School Eisteddfod, and other similar events. Dream Movement provides support in

·      The audition processes.

·      Offer specialised choreography in various styles catering to junior, senior, boys and girls show groups.

·      Assist or provide with costuming.

·      Provide professional music edits.

·      We provide lessons both before and during school hours.

GRADUATIONS

As students enter Year 6, it's a time of excitement and anticipation. Dream Movement is here to help make their graduation day even more special. We offer a comprehensive graduation package with weekly lessons experienced movement specialists teach. On the big day, students can showcase their newly learned dance skills, which will undoubtedly make for an unforgettable experience. We can also provide assistance with

·      Disco lighting.

·      Music catering for all aspects of the graduation (We bring the speaker and headset.)

·      Interactive activities/ games/ dance battles/ dance circles

·      Classic and on-trend dances to fire up the dance floor.
